NetVigil Terms of Service

Last updated · May 25, 2026

NetVigil is a macOS menu-bar utility by Blossomn. It's free to download with a 7-day trial; after that, a one-time $29.99 purchase unlocks it for good. By using NetVigil you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — no surprises.

01Who provides NetVigil

NetVigil is built and operated by Blossomn, a software studio in India ("we", "us"). Questions: info@blossomn.com. These terms supplement, and don't replace, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), which also governs your use of the app. Where they conflict, the Apple Standard EULA controls for App Store distribution.

03Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled under Apple's refund policy — request them through reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't process payments directly and therefore can't issue refunds ourselves, but if something's wrong, email us and we'll help you sort it out.

04What NetVigil is — and isn't

NetVigil is an informational utility. Its readings are best-effort estimates, not guaranteed measurements, and it is not a diagnostic or compliance tool.

NetVigil reports throughput from your Mac's network counters, latency from a ping, and Wi-Fi details from macOS. These are useful at-a-glance indicators, but they depend on your network, your Mac, and third-party servers. Speed-test results reflect a point-in-time measurement against Cloudflare's endpoints and can vary. Don't rely on NetVigil as the sole basis for decisions where accuracy is critical (for example, disputes with an ISP) — confirm with independent tools.

05Acceptable use

Use NetVigil for its intended purpose on devices you own or control. Don't reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or attempt to circumvent the purchase mechanism, except to the extent the law expressly permits. Don't use the app to violate any law or any third party's rights.

06Intellectual property

NetVigil, its name, logo, and design are owned by Blossomn. Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and the Apple Standard EULA. It does not transfer ownership of the software.

07Third-party services

NetVigil relies on Apple (distribution, In-App Purchase) and Cloudflare (the speed-test endpoints you trigger). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.

08Disclaimer of warranties

NetVigil is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its measurements will be accurate.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blossomn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of NetVigil. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10Changes to the app and these terms

We may update NetVigil and these terms over time. If we make a material change to the terms, we'll post a notice at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may discontinue features, but we won't revoke an unlock you've already purchased.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
